ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Project for Innovative Culture
A cultural partnership that brings creators and organisations from ASEAN and Korea together to research, create, and share collaborative projects with wider audiences.
The Cooperation Project promotes cultural and artistic exchange and builds sustainable networks between ASEAN and Korea. It supports project development from research and creation to project implementation and public engagement. Individuals and organisations from ASEAN working in the arts and culture sector may apply through their respective Korean partner organisations.
The programme invests in the process of collaboration and creates a foundation that can carry each partnership into its next project.
STEP 1
Partners learn each other’s cultural contexts, identify shared themes and collaborators, and establish a basis for long-term exchange.
STEP 2
Shared ideas become concrete arts and culture projects, turning creative partnerships into practical collaboration.
STEP 3
Completed projects reach broader audiences and regions, extending their impact into sustained exchange and future partnerships.
Each project receives support for the next step it needs, from early planning to delivery and wider circulation.
For projects in the planning stage, laying the foundation for long-term cultural exchange and cooperation.
For projects in the implementation stage, bringing ideas to life and strengthening cultural and creative partnerships.
For selected projects in the expansion stage, supporting wider circulation and sustainable cultural partnerships.
